ABSTRACT
Introducción: la familia como célula fundamental de la sociedad, tiene entre sus funciones la educación de las nuevas generaciones. En ella pueden aparecer episodios de violencia intrafamiliar que resultan difíciles de identificar y de afrontar por los adolescentes. Objetivos: identificar la presencia de violencia en las familias de los estudiantes de enfermería de primer año de la Escuela de Formación Emergente de Enfermería, así como determinar la relación entre el agresor y los tipos de violencia intrafamiliar. Métodos: se realizó una investigación descriptiva de corte transversal. El universo estuvo constituido por 101 estudiantes de la sede del municipio Cotorro. La muestra fue de 72 estudiantes que reconocieron la presencia de violencia intrafamiliar en sus hogares. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos de revisión documental y métodos empíricos de grupos focales y encuesta. Resultados: existe violencia intrafamiliar en la mayoría de los hogares de los estudiantes estudiados, donde los padres y las madres son los agresores fundamentales. Introduction: education of new generations is one of the functions of family as the fundamental unit of society. It may appear episodes of domestic violence are difficult to identify and address by adolescents. Objectives: to identify the presence of violence in the families of nursing students from first year of the School of Nursing Education Emerging and to determine the relationship between the perpetrator and the types of domestic violence.
